ABOUT US
Charleston Port City Golf Club was founded in 1971 by Ernest Middleton, Johnny Middleton, Chris Pinkney, Emmet Sadler, and James White. The club was founded to promote access to golf for all Charlestonians. The club does this by conducting skills clinics several times a year and hosting several fundraising tournaments. Proceeds from fundraising are donated to local charities and fund youth clinics. This year, Charleston Port City Golf Club is happy to raise money for Sickle Cell Research Center at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital for the second year in a row. Learn more about Sickle Cell Disease here, see below for ways you can support the tournament and sickle cell research.
